David and Raymond Patent Firm (Monterey Park, CA) is seeking a Regulatory Affairs
Specialist (Intellectual Property) to manage the patent preparation and filing system, patent
prosecution, and procedures for the firm; work with Chinese-speaking clients in the U.S. and
overseas to ensure that all patent applications are filed within the required USPTO
procedures, timelines, and related regulatory standards to secure clients' global patent rights;
review English translations of Chinese patent specifications, claims and drawings prepared
by patent agents before filing with USPTO and overseas patent offices; manage and
maintain complete and accurate patent applications and issued patents in both English and
Chinese; update relevant intellectual property (IP) regulations, rules, and case law in the
United States, Taiwan, and China; and update the firm's digital regulatory library in both
English and Chinese. Requires at least a master's degree in IP law (or related field) and
knowledge of the U.S. patent system. Education must include completion of coursework in
U.S. IP law, international IP law, patent law, copyright law, trademark law, drafting technical
agreements, and IP licensing-related courses. Proficiency in English and Mandarin languages.
